Okay, Shawn and I went to IKEA yesterday to buy some things for this house and we were soooo overstimulated in there that we became sooo confused!!! It was definitely sensory overload!!! There's cool stuff everywhere!!! We could not figure out how to make a decision on anything in there! ha ha It was crazy! We LOVED the store, it's sooo reasonably priced and has such neat stuff, we were just sooo overwhelmed and confused.
It's like being at a buffet but you can only choose 3 or 4 items so how do you choose from it all?? ha ha Oh boy, it was an experience! We even got lost in the store 2 times!!! We had to have an employee open and emergency exit door for us!!! ha ha It was hilarious! We had sooo much fun in there but when it came to actually making purchases, there was too much to decide on.......we did buy a few frames, and some art but that's about it. We plan to go back to buy more but we were done for the day after all of the confusion! ha Shawn actually looked at me at one point and said "Lets go to a store we understand, like Walmart or Target!" ha I cracked up!
IKEA is a really cool store, we loved it alot but it was a bit overwhelming on the first visit. We are going to go back today and look around again. Hopefully we can use the map and not get lost!!! If you happen to be there and hear some people laughing and looking lost, it's us so help us! ha We off for more shopping now, Aasta!!!!

That is too funny! Please tell me the store is really, really huge and that is the reason you got lost! It would crush me too think you might be a bit dorky! ha ha ha
Haven't made it to Ikea yet, but I have heard using the map is what you want to do.

That's so funny! I can't wait to visit IKEA!!! I am the same way as you even in a small store - I CANNOT make a decision when it comes to buying anything for my home - there is so much to choose from!
i love ikea but i agree that it is ALOT to take in. my husband hates the place...it is too much for him
